Wingman Approved

Having been sick the past few days, I wanted to make sure I gave people something for the weekend. Of all the things people should pay attention to is the fact it's October - which means - Oktoberfest. It'll happen all month, starting with festive beers, leading to parties.

Dappered has a good article talking about the 6 best brews to try, including Harpoon's own Octoberfest. And speaking of Harpoon, their seasonal Oktoberfest is this weekend. It starts...NOW actually and goes on again tomorrow (Saturday). Here are all the details. Admission gets you a drink from the many taps they have to offer. I've been two years in a row and each time was amazing. There are so many people there, you're guaranteed to meet someone.

Rain or shine, it's happening so you should be there. I STRONGLY recommend it.

Enjoy the weekend.

Party Time!

Here's the public invitation for LoveNation's Boston Launch Party!

RSVP here and each guest will get a mini bottle of Rosé (while supplies last)!

Special thanks to Martini & Rossi!

Come hang out with me, my co-host Laurie and let's have some fun. I don't get to go out much anymore (unless I'm working) so if I must, why not make it an event?!

Hope to see you there!

Tonight: Laurel Bar & Grill Wine Tasting

It seems like every two weeks, Laurel B&G does a wine event that gets a good crowd. This week, it’s a wine seminar featuring Michael Wolfson of Ruby Wine Importers. You get to sample four Bubblies from Italy, Cali, South Africa and France.

The event starts at 6:30PM.

Wine tastings are great social events and worth the admission. You get to easily start conversation with people who share the same interests as you do.

Line of the evening: “How do you feel about THIS one?”

The cost for this event is $29.99 (plus tax and gratuity). Included will be 4 tasting plates for each wine.

For more information and to see future wine events, you can check out the Laurel Bar & Grill site. Can’t say you have nothing to do tonight.

While at the tweetup, you'll get to tweet with my official "winggirl," CarlywithAXE, where you can ask her questions regarding dating and style. Can't go wrong with your dating questions answered from the female's point of view.

At the end of the night, there will be a raffle, giving away two (2) 2-hour coaching sessions with Thomas Edwards (valued at $200 each) where you will get the hands-on wingman experience and some solid dating consultation!
