No Video Means Day Off? Never.

Don't have a video today because I will be doing some great things for a great cause today. Sometimes, your message is better expressed in-person than on video.

In a few hours, I will be making a presentation at Boston Ignite 5. The topic: "Love in 140."

I'll be talking about how social media can bring you more than just professional relationships and a growing business. You can find love, too. I'll focus on Twitter, give two examples on how this is true and a give a few tips as to how it could be possible for YOU to find that potential love there as well.

Right after that, I'll be racing over to OM Lounge, home of this year's Boston Twestival. This event, also being held in over 185+ cities around the world, is for one cause and one cause alone - clean water. I love going to events like these.

Some things are always worth the cause.

Don't worry, I'll be back on the video rampage with a great video tomorrow. My last mentioning of the topic of Valentine's Day for the rest of the year. It'll be a good one.

Stop Making Excuses [Video]

Whatever excuse you are coming up with right now, stop it. You are only hurting yourself. You are the only one that's capable of acheiving your goals. Don't point fingers. Don't make excuses. Suck it up and jump into the fire. You'll be a better person for it.

Can Social Media Help Your Game?

This past Sunday, I was on a great panel called Topics on Fire, which was run by Leslie Poston of Uptown Uncorked, talking about Social Media & Relationships. Here was the discussion description:

How is social media having an impact on your online and offline relationships? What are some things you can do to safeguard your non-tech based friendships, loves and family dynamics? What can you do to enhance your online relationships with real people? Note: this is about personal relationships, not B2C or B2B relationships.

Current panel includes myself as moderator and social media and marketing enthisiast Ben Grossman, Perkett PR’s own Christine Major, Thomas Edwards of Project Infinity plus networking coach Diane Darling as panelists.

I had a great time and there is some valuable information regarding anything building and maintaining relationship in and out of Social Media.

Enjoy.
